Andrea’s Story
Andrea Bagnera was born in the heart Sicily's capital Palermo and spent much of his life by the beach in Terrasini.
He moved to London in his early 20s to become a flair bartender and, after five years, decided to take his bartending career global, working for some of the world's and Australia's top bars.
Andrea decided to hang up his bartender apron and step into the Sale trade, he is still making waves in the drinks industry as a Business Development Manager for Spirits Company stepped out from behind the bar only one year ago to begin his new career.
Janai’s Story
Janai Hunter born and raised in sunny Townsville, Janai packed up her bags at the age of 18 and headed south to Melbourne in search of an adventure.
From the unpredictable weather that could change from summer to winter in the blink of an eye, to the buzzing nightlife, sporting events, concerts, and endless delicious restuarants, Janai embraced everything Melbourne had to offer.
After a few years in the hospitality industry, Janai decided to take the plunge into the corporate world, and she hasn’t looked back since. For the past 11 years, she’s been working her way up the ranks in the financial services industry, start from the bottom as administration assistant and now as a director of two mortgage funds.
Our Relationship
We met in 2016 at Vaporetto – Venetian Bar & Eatery and owe it all to late Glynis and our mutual friends Steph and Kim.
On our first date, it was evident that something magical was happening between them. Bonding over cocktails and greasy late-night pizza. During the night at a trendy Melbourne cocktail bar, we had our first kiss, and that first kiss sealed it!
We promised to see each other again soon; of course, we did only a few days later. We'd talk about everything and still do; we have travelled the world, jumped out of a plane together, lived in each other's hometowns with our parents, and are blessed to have our parents live with us for a while.
We live in Melbourne's bay area, by the beach, with our beautiful chocolate Labrador Bailey. Now, of course, ready to celebrate our wedding with you!
